Does anyone know of any financial assistance for a single mom?

I am a single Mom in Kingwood Tx and I was looking for a support group that meets once a week, anyone know one?

Just want to find a support group that meets up once a week or so that gears more towards single mothers. Not a "dating" group but just a group of single parents getting together and talking about kids and divorce and things like that. Does anyone know of any in the Kingwood tx area?

I don't know off hand any in Kingwood but there is a Social Club in The Woodlands that members are mostly single but a few couples too. I have met people who go to the Thursday Night Mixer each week that are from Kingwood. http://www.thewoodlandssingles.com/
