First time going to Maui- what things should I make sure to do?

I absolutely love Maui, and have been there 3 times, for between 10 days and 3 weeks. Ive never once run out of things to do! The beaches are amazing, the snorkelling is awesome. Make sure you take the time to drive up Mt Haleakala, and do the day trip to Hana if you can spare a whole day. Lahaina is alot of fun, especially in the evening. There are great bars and restuarants, and tons of little shops. You will absolutely need to rent a car to be able to take advantage of everything on Maui. There really is'nt any public transportation, aside from Hotel shuttles. Car rental is fairly cheap, and easy at the airport. Have fun!

Let see what you should do is how about take the road to Hana a wonderful experience. Or u can even see the beutiful sunrise at haleakala national park but dont forget to bring a jacket.

You should definitely do the Haleakala Sunrise and do the bikes if your any bit adventurous. Its not really dangerous and hundreds of people do it every day so it can be that bad. My wife and I did it on our honeymoon and it was one of the best parts of out time in Maui. There is also a comedian/magician in Maui that was hilarious. I forget what his name was but he was awesome and really included the crowd.
