How to ship large boxes internationally?

How would you ship a bed to Hawaii with a couple of other large boxes? What would be the best way and cheapest

    i think it would be cheaper to just buy a new bed when you get there. unless you get a container and send it on the barge. good luck with that...take care and aloha!

I would not. Unless you have enough for a container, which it sound slike you do not, or if you can go in with some other people to fill a container. I assume you are shipping from the mainland US. If you need to ship the boxes and do not need them right away, I would ship parcel post. If you have a box that is all media (books, etc), I would ship media mail which is an even better rate. If you do choose to ship by air, make sure the post office marks the box really well so it does not accidently get put onto the boat instead of the plane (That happened to me once). If I were you, I would sell the bed you have and buy one here in Hawaii.
