How to get from honolulu airport to the hotel cheapest way?

  • Hey, I did read somewhere about this, but not sure where, I do wanna know how to get from Honolulu airport to the hotel the cheapest way, bc know taxi is around $40. There suppose to be some bus a block away for $2??? Is that correct? Thank You.

    The Bus which has stops at the airport is $2.25 but they don't allow luggage that can't fit directly on your lap. Any larger and the driver may or may not refuse your boarding. If The Bus doesn't work for you, there is a $9.00 dollar shuttle, "Airport/Waikiki Shuttle which is probably the safer bet anyway, less route confusion. http://hawaii.gov/hnl/ground-transportation/airport-waikiki-express

A lot of the hotels have transfers from the airport for free. Or The Bus is $2. Check with your hotel to see if they have free airport transfers

Uhm.. I'm not sure which bus, but when I went to Honolulu I did take a bus, not The Bus though. Seriously though.. just hire a taxi. What time does your flight come in anyways?
