What to do during summer vacation?

What can i do at home for summer vacation?

• Well, my school just ended on Friday, and it's summer vacation. I asked my parents if we were going somewhere this Summer, and they said no. So, i'm stuck in vancouver for the whole summer until September. I need to pass the time a little bit. My mom promised she would get me a book. But, that would only last for about 3-6 days. What should i do at home?

  cook food! and invite your friends! or make arts a crafts, play around with old clothes! >>> http://diyfashion.about.com/ then round those up with old clothes and old books and have a yard sale! then with that money go see a movie with your friends! start your summer homework! hopefully when that's over a new opportunity will arise. volunteer at non profit org! then when you're old enough you it can help you apply for a job or internship at that place! start making your college transcript a little meatier and better. a great place to start with this is: >>>dosomething.org >>>idealist.org (for a lot of these you can help out long distance and its fun!) donate old books to a charity...get involved in your community! it looks good to colleges. rearrange your room! i think the volunteering is a great place to start! (and get out of the house :] )
