Where are the best nightlife spots on Kauai?

We'll be visiting Kauai in August. Are there any nightclubs or bars that are fun to go to? How are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights? A few years back we went to the club at the Marriott in Lihue on a Thursday when the cruise ships came in and the club was really fun! Is that places still open? Any suggestions or hot spots you can recommend? I know Kauai is not known for it's nightlife. Thanks!
