Visiting Maui next week, what are the must do things?

take a helicopter ride, ask the pilot to fly through a rainbow. go scuba diving (not on the same day though)

Two must do's would be making the drive on the road to Hana and experiencing the lushness and tropical feel of the 50 mile ride, but also the 300 turns and numerous single-lane bridges! The other is to go to Haleakala National Park, either for sunrise or sunset, whichever you can make...if the sunrise, then biking down from the park entrance is another cool adventure to make. This is also the season for the humpback whales to be seen off the coast of the islands, as they winter in the waters of Hawaii. Snorkeling and diving at Molokini Island (part of a tour). Go to the top of Haleakala at sunrise (it's COLD, wear long shirts and pants) -- beautiful. Go to the Hawaii Nature Center in Iao Valley--guided tour through rainforest and ancient Hawaiian ruins. Good Maui arts scene, check it out and buy local!

Snorkeling, surfing, sailing on a world cup boat, golfing at Kapalua, going to a Lua, drive the Road to Hana and most importantly relax and have fun.
