What/where are some good hotels in Maui?

  • I have a club in school (Business Professionals of America) that im a part of and for an event i have to put together three vacation packages for business employees I want to know where some good hotels are that are near pretty beaches i am thinking of doing a resort hotel (which i already have) a escursion hotel and a hotel near a city where fun stuff can be done like going to bars or something (the employees are part of generation Y, which is basically the generation that is all into technology and stuff like that) thankssss

    Excursion hotel, you're probably talking about the Hotel Hana Maui, in a small town on the remote side of the island. Between Keanae and Kaupo, I think there are only about three thousand people living on that side of the island. There are a couple of guest houses and such, and even a few treehouses you can rent, but the Hotel Hana Maui is pretty much the only hotel over there. The closest thing we have to a city on Maui is Kahului/Wailuku. Two of the island's five public high schools are located there if that gives you any clue. The hotels in the area are nothing special. They are next door to each other, and one of them is marginally fancier and more expensive than the other. But for boutique shopping and nightlife, the Kihei coast and Lahaina coast are where it's at, for the most part. So, I would suggest that one of your hotels be on the Kihei side (Is the Grand Wailea the one you have?) and that one be on the west side.

no need for hotel. you can sleep on beach for free. just bring a blanket because it gets a little cold at night. no need for money in hawaii. you can get everything you want for free. there's some really good food in the garbage bins outside the restaurants. you won't believe the great food they throw away. like half eaten lobster, fried rice, shrimps, ribs, and all sorts of good food. very delicious foods. but you have to hurry and get it because sometimes the rats eat it first. if so, just scare the rats away, easy, and prepare youself for a feast of delights for your taste buds. no need car. just walk around and stick out your thumb. somebody would pick you up eventually and take you around anywhere you please... hawaii is true paradise. where you don't need money..just come here and enjoy your life..that's it
