Is Southwest Philly a safe area to live?

What area in Hawaii is the safe best place to live & etc.?

  • We don't have children and we are planning to move to Hawaii for the first time. We want to know: What area is the safe best place to live? And we are searching Non-Denominational Church in the area as well. What Island is the best place to live? What area has a moderate cost of living in Hawaii? We really do appreciate your sincere help. May GOD bless all!

  • Answer:

I personally have lived on Maui for 7 months and I think it is extremely safe. Granted, no place is perfect, and I'm not saying there is no crime/abuse here, but I've noticed it to be minimal. Oahu has more crime than the other islands. This is understandable since there are a lot of people there. Cost for Hawaii is tricky to figure out. For cheap housing, try the Big Island(especially if you are interested in buying land). For cheap(er) gas, groceries, etc. Oahu is best. Oahu also has grocery stores, clothing stores, restaurants, etc. Granted, the other islands have them to some extent but Oahu is the shopping and eating mecca of all the islands. I honestly recommend you visit every island before making your move. Some people don't want to bother with it, but doing this can mean your overall happiness for years to come! All the islands are different with their own up and downs and different culture. Honestly, without visiting the four major islands before moving, I wouldn't bother. You need to look at grocery/clothing/housing/jobs, etc. Some places rain every day while others never rain. People who say they can't afford to visit the different islands certainly can't afford to move here. Not trying to be harsh, but it is important. ^ Good luck!

Alaska is way more BA. but if you want to retire in luxury I would move to another country because A) your money value will go up B) The US is not a great place to be finically in 20 years C) if WW3 does start Hawaii isn't not the place to be But if your 30 and moving for a change then I would choose the island of Maui because it's has city and country lifestyles to offer. Everywhere in hawaii is probably expensive to live though. Maui isn't a large city like Oahu which beats the purpose of living on a tropical island. Hawaii is probably safe everywhere. They proably do have here crimes and the people who commit them like every other place but they don't have like pirates or huge organized crime like arizona or California. I would watch out though for tourist muggers.
