Which college degree will go the farthest in Hawaii?

I am a single female looking to go to college at HPU, but I can't figure out what I want to major in. I wish I could do nursing but I'm really unsure about it. Other things I am interested in is Public Relations, Criminal Justice, and Marine Biology. I would just like a career that would help me make a decent living, where there are several of good job opportunities in the state. I am also open to any other suggestions for different majors that would be good to have in Hawaii. Thank you!

Like all other cities, the degree doesn't matter so much as your drive and desire to succeed. I have a history degree with a geography minor but I"m killing it in sales on Oahu right now.

go into marine biology. preferably at UH though they have one of the top marine bio programs in the nation. and well, the island is surrounded by water so i'm sure you'll do fine. pay wise, go with nursing.
