Whats the Weather like in Kauai, in august?

  Kauai is known for having the rainiest spot on earth (Mt. Waialeale), but no one lives or for the most part even goes there, except for looking at it on a helicopter tour. Poipu is the dry side of the island, and it hardly ever gets rain in August. I normally stay in Princeville, which is the "rainy" side, but it hardly rains there in August either. Your main issues in Poipu in August will be to avoid sunburn and not let yourself get dehydrated if you are out and about during the hot part of the day. The one downside will be that the waves will likely not be high enough to cause the Spouting Horn to put on a really good show for you. Have lots of fun!
