Is business managment difficult?

Question about business managment and hawaii?

  • Currently I go to school for business management. In a year a couple of us wanna move down to hawaii.I could finish out school there. How likely is it to get a career with that degree if I only know english?

    1. Make sure you CAN finish school here. Not sure how it is right now, but in some years, it has been hard to transfer to UH-Manoa, if that is the school you are considering. 2. Most business is done in English, so it should not be a problem unless you want to work with Japanese nationals or recent immigrant populations.

Might depend on what other experience you have, and if you have any prior ties to Hawaii, etc. If it's an undergrad degree in business management, I don't know that it would be in super demand beyond anything done locally -- and I actually would be careful about assuming you can finish school in Hawaii itself. You might eventually find something, but your pay would likely be lower than on the mainland (and expenses higher), and by the time you finish with relocation expenses, ending up in a job probably not quite as glamorous as you'd hope, etc., it might not be all you'd expect.
