Where is this in Maui?

Where can i buy a ukulele in Maui or Oahu?

  • My family is going to maui and oahu and we are a very musical family so we want to know where to get a GOOD QUALITY ukulele. We prefer if you would tell me a place in maui because that is where we are going first. What ukulele brands are good? Thank you

    Aloha, This is an easy one! My husband plays and teaches the ukulele and we live on Maui. Mele Ukulele's are great! They are located on Maui, just about a ten minute drive the airport. Here is their website. http://meleukulele.com/default.asp

How much money you want to spend on a ukulele? I sell ukulele in Germany. I carry risa which is probably one of the best German brands one can carry. I also carry some low end (Kala and Makala) and high end ukuleles ( Koolau). I have a couple of applauses (soprano and Tenor). For the price, they are okay. I was in hawaii in Feb, but I did not have time to go looking for Ukuleles. The largest shop is suppose to be out in Waipahu. I was in Kailua. Mele and KP have shops on Maui. You can visit Ko Aloha Brand in Kalihi. Handmade and good quality. Obviously, you will need to spend a good amout of money,but this place is worth checking out.
