Kauai hot air balloon rides?

my husband and i are going to Kauai next week and it has always been my dream to take a hot air balloon ride. can anyone help me find somewhere on Kauai that does them? any information would be great. thanks.

I am really familiar with hot air balloon rides (did one over the Serengeti in Africa and they fly over our house in California on a regular basis), also with Kauai (visited there about 10 times), and I don't think the two mix. Balloon rides require predictable low winds and a safe, large, treeless area to land in. I would say Kauai lacks those features. I have never seen a hot air balloon on Kauai. You should go for a helicoper or boat ride.

Are you sure you heard of balloon rides in Kauai? They do have a lot of helicopter tours there, but with a balloon it would be too easy to drift out to sea. Helicopters go over the mountains there, but with a balloon you could not do that, because you have to gain too much altitude and would not be able to get down quick enough when you get to the Ocean.
