Do you know most interesting places in Tenerife?

Do you guys know about any interesting places (festivals, fairs, etc) to visit in US?

  • I will be staying in US (Detroit) from June 7th to August 22nd. its not my first trip to US. i have already visited Washington DC, i have been to Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Cleveland etc. My sister promissed to take me to California this year, however it didnt work out. Do you know about some places worth visiting not too far from Detroit, MI? im looking for something fun, that i couldnt experience here in Europe. plus it needs to be something that wont bore my 2-year old niece too much. i dont want my vacation to turn into one whiney hell... another dilemma is whether to choose NY or Chicago+Mall of America (instead of that trip to CA). what do you think? and why? thanks a lot in advance.

You could come up to Traverse City in the first week of July for the National Cherry Festival. That's about a 4-hour drive from Detroit, depending upon traffic and your attitude toward speed limits. Or, closer to Detroit, you could visit the Ann Arbor Art Fair. They block off several blocks downtown for this annual event. It's in July as well.

Four hours from Detroit is Niagara Falls. Viewing the falls is free and just watching the water and walking the park never gets old. It's beautiful and there are many other activities. http://www.niagarafallstourism.com/ I would choose New York City over Chicago if you have not been. A great my activities to do and seeing the quality of a live broadway show can not be match anywhere in the world. http://newyork.timeout.com/ Best of luck.
