What stores do Black women in Michigan shop at for clothes?

I am conducting a research project in MI and I'm looking to give out gift cards to participants who happen to be all Black women. I was told by my research supervisor that I shouldn't get gift cards from places like Hollister or The Gap, because they don't tend to shop there. Any ideas where they tend to shop for clothes?
