Where is the best place to stay in Colorado for Ski?

  • we were hoping to go in thanksgiving to ski in colorado but we just didnt know where to go. ive heard of breckenridge from tv and friends and they said it was really great! i just wanted to know if any of you guys may know a better place by experience and if you think brekckenridge is the best place for us to go could you recommend some great resorts! i would love to stay at a 5 star amazing huge resort on or near the slopes..just a really nice resort and less of a square 10 story hotel..i also wanted to stay at a cabin but im too much of a wuss!! if you also have any tips or sugggestions on what to do and what to bring or not bring that would be great!!

Vail and Keystone are really nice resorts, I've never been to Breckenridge, though I've heard it's also really good. We went to Vail once, and then started going to Keystone for a few years because it was a little cheaper. We never went to Breckenridge because we always heard it was insanely crowded, and pretty expensive (though I think Vail is more expensive...and those three are pretty much always crowded...around when we go anyway).
