Camp grounds near University of Colorado at Boulder?

I'm looking for decent campgrounds near University of Colorado at Boulder that are good for tent camping. Can anyone suggest any, and list websites? I'm in California and trying to research before I get there. Also, maybe some places to find camp gear near the campus?

Golden Gate State park is right outside of Boulder. I think that there is a North Face Store in Boulder somewhere and there might be a REI

go to colorado.com. there it should have all the campgrounds and other things to look at... the only one that I have been to is Estes Park, but that is not very close to Boulder.
