How do you get started with modeling?

How hard is it to get started modeling in CO, & how do you get started?

• Also what are good agencies out here? I'm interested in modeling, but not full out career type, more like small gigs part time. Where do I start?   You don't need a portfolio if you haven't done any professional work. If you get signed by an agency, they will put together a portfolio for you - at no charge to you Why not call around to local magazines and stores that do fashion shows and find out how they book models, which agencies they go through, etc. That way you will know which agencies are actually getting work for their models, vs the many scams who will take anyone gullible enough to pay them but will never get them any work
