What are the names of some upper-class public high schools in Denver?

  • I'm not attending any schools in Denver so this isn't a personal question but I DO need to know this. Oh, and if you know, please list the lower-class schools, too =P

    Umm no. There are "upper class" ones here. In Denver they all are kinda "lower class". The ones I can think of are George Washington, Hinkley. Mainly there are "upper" and "lower" class school districts. Cherry Creek and Douglas County school districts would probable be "upper class". Denver Public Schools are "lower class" schools.

There are no upper or lower class schools in Denver. All are equal. You've lived in Denver long enough to know that.

You mean, in the city/county of Denver? Or the metropolitan area? cause, there's nothing good in the city! Mostly lower class. You want upper class, you have to go to the suburbs. Cherry Creek High, Columbine, Douglas County schools...wait, scratch that. My friend used to work for them, they have had to make HUGE budget cuts in the last two years! REALLY hurting their quality! Kent-Denver and Regis are two really great private schools.

Denver public schools are terrible. The graduation rate is barely 50%. I live in the suburbs so I don't have to deal with DPS, but if I was in Denver I would almost definitely homeschool or choose a private, parochial school.

There are no upper or lower class schools in Denver. There are schools in wealthy neighborhoods, such as South or George Washington. There are schools located in poorer neighborhoods such as Manual. The schools themselves are not upper or lower class.
