Answer:
Drive out of Parker and west on Interstate 70 for an hour and a half, over the Continental Divide. Snow fell all day in Summit County. Big, heavy, wet flakes of packing snow in the valleys and light, powdery, deep snow on the mountaintops. Drive up to the Frisco exit, park behind Safeway, and hop on a Summit Stage free bus. You can ride around all day looking at snow: Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, Breckenridge, Frisco, Silverthorne, and Copper Mountain are all buried in more than a foot of snow. Look on Wikipedia for more information about each of the ski resorts or Eagles Nest Wilderness Area. You are allowed to build snowmen or snow angels at any of the many parks in each community or snowshoe up trails in the Eagles Nest Wilderness Area.

We really don't get as much snow as a lot of people think we do. It's a rare Christmas with snow on the ground on the plains. If you want snow on Christmas you can always go a little ways up in to the mountains. There's always snow up in Idaho Springs and such. Our snowiest month is usually February.

Nope. You are mistaking Denver with the mountains, where we are getting tons of snow! Denver will, typically, get some snow, and a few dumps (lots all at one time/storm), usually February and later, that may close down much of the city. You'll see more in the Western part of the city, but even still...just look to the West...see all that white? That's where I live.

Some winters there is a lot of snow, some winters very ittle. It is common not to have snow in Dec. The heaviest snofall is in March and April. there will definetly be more from Jan. on than before an. It usually melts fast.. Parker is a great place...kinda protected by the mountains...but you will get snow...just wait.
