Where are some good places to camp in Colorado?

I'm looking for a spot to camp in Colorado for my 21st?

I'm looking for tent camping and in a national forest where we can just camp anywhere, ideally not a "camping site" where we will be more or less left alone. Anyone know of any beautiful secluded places to camp in Colorado? .

The trouble is that in the National Parks, you cannot just camp anywhere...you must be in a designated camping area. Now, I have been in very remote, areas , with o one or only one other camper nearby, but you never know. If you go during a busy season, you will be hard but to find an uncrowded spot. You can try the 1st site below. Second site below has several sites with info on camping in Rocky Mountain National Park...a fantastic place.
