How far is HOLY HILL from PORTAGE?

Can someone please tell me how far the Highlands neighborhood is from Capital Hill? ?

What is the difference in the two neighborhoods? Is the price for living much different? Age of people? Crime? Is one more family oriented than the other? I'm moving from New Orleans and am a single girl so I don't need a big house. Also, can you name a couple of apartment buildings that are in the Highlands AND Capital Hill area? One more thing, what is the average cost for renting a house in both areas?

Hi, the Highlands neighborhood is a few miles west of Capitol Hill. It's a very hip up and coming neighborhood. Used to be dingy but now is nicer. I know for crime, the more north you go in the neighborhood, it get's a bit more crime-ridden (and that seems like an overstatement). As far as apartments go and rents, i am unaware.
