Where is the cheapest place to live?

Where is the best/cheapest place to live in the Denver area?

  • So my girlfriend and I are planning on moving from Kansas City to Denver. She wants to go to grad school in Boulder and I would be working at UPS. She probably won't be able to work while taking classes so we can't live somewhere too expensive. Does anyone have any suggestions of a good place to live? How much would a 1 br place be in downtown Boulder? From the research I've done the cheapest places I have found have been in Greeley. That would be okay for me because there is a UPS in Loveland, but is that too far from Boulder? Thanks!!

  • Answer:

If you want to stay north then Longmont or Niwot might work. As far as cheaper Louisville or Laffayette is cheaper but further away from Loveland. If you wind up at UPS in Denver, thats on the eastside, then Westminster or Northglen would be reasonable.
