Info about places of interest near Broomfield and Denver?

• Hi, I am in above mentioned places with my friend for about 3 months. Would like to know the places of interest to visit, tourist places etc. in and around. Also let me know mode of transport to these places as we don't have our own. Thanks in advance!!!

  Broomfield is a satellite suburb sort of shared by Denver and Boulder. Inside Broomfield itself, you won't find much exciting -- office parks, a mall, and lots of single-family homes. You'll find more to do in Boulder and Denver. RTD-Denver, the transit service, has buses that go along US-36 (a highway between Denver and Boulder). You can take the B-route to either Denver or Boulder, depending on which way it's going. From there, downtown Denver is walkable and so is Boulder. In Denver, there are big city type things -- museums, nightclubs, etc. Boulder has a downtown pedestrian mall that's worth an afternoon of leisure, plus hundreds of miles of trails for hiking. You can also go skiing/boarding in the mountains. For options on getting there, you might call the ski resorts and they can recommend buses.
