Breckenridge, CO. A small town with a lot of bars and tourists. Way fun. A new transportation opened up there called Powderhound Transportation. Check em out at http://www.ridethepowder.com. They are BYOB and an awesome way to get around without a DUI. Go Breck!

If you want uber expensive and upscale choose Vail/Beaver Creek, Aspen, Breck, or Keystone. (Breck and Keystone are not AS bad) -About 1 hour from Denver Personally I LOVE Breck during the winter its very cute and a fun place. If you are looking for a fun low-key low-pop college town with awesome bars and a pretty cheap lift ticket, go for Durango! -About 7 hr drive from Denver If you want hardcore backcountry experience go for Silverton (near Durango- bout 45 mins) But bring those powder skis (or um board) and avalanche gear! -About 7-8 hour drive from Denver There is also Wolf Creek near Durango (2 hrs away) -About 6 hours from Denver Boulder, I am from there, is a really fun place to party and go out on the town, but Eldora is not TOO amazing, but is cheap compared to the other resorts! It does has a great backcountry tho. (Boulder is a great outdoors city for all kinds of fun and a great place overall XD ) -About 45 mins from Denver

Snowboarders may not like Breckenridge because there's many flat areas and hard for the boarder to get around. Breckenridge is very nice though. Depending on where you're staying, in town or at the mountain, in town, quick mountain drive is winterpark. Mary Jane has some great moguls and black diamonds or good for intermediate. http://www.skiwinterpark.com/index.htm Arapahoe Basin is also a quick drive http://www.coloradoski.com/Resorts/ColoradoSkiResorts/ArapahoeBasin/ Keystone is great, Aspen is great, Loveland is great. Can't go wrong with the Colorado Mountains! These drives are a bit longer. Have a great time!
