  • For a student going to University of Colorado- Boulder, what would be the approximate cost to rent an apartment near campus and live there? also, anything good or bad you have heard about the university? thanks!

    Looked up student housing on craigslist - it looks like monthy rent is between 425-500 for shared rooms. As for cost of living - as a college student myself, I can live off of about 40$ a week, but not comfortably. Monthy groceries cost about 65-70$. Its advisable to get a good crappy bike, rather than bringing the good one up. Having a bike will reduce car maintenance fees (gas, fixing.. ect) I got mine for 9$ at a local thrift store, and with keeping up with its problems it has lasted me about 3 years.
