Which is the cheapest community college in DFW area in Texas?

Free or cheap things to do in DFW Texas area?

  • I'm up for meeting new people and doing stuff I don't usually do, but I'm very limited when it comes to spending money...very limited. I'm starting college this fall at Collin College and while I know that joining clubs is a good way to meet people, I want to also do things like go to art festivals and indie concerts...but I don't know where to look. My current friends are not into those sorts of things and they're not always creative at figuring out fun things to do b/c we're all so busy. I'm bored. I want a new experience but it has to cheap or I can't do it. I also really want it to be a social experience. Where do I look? Any suggestions?

    Take the TRE to Fort Worth from Dallas. Your kind of people are probably in Fort Worth. Grab a coffee and just start up a conversation in downtown Fort Worth. Superfriendly.

Join a volunteer club if they have one. Do you like to skateboard? Allen, TX (close to Collin College) has a free skatepark that is the largest in the state. It has a BMX track also. Addison is a great place to go around this time. They have tons of fesitvals this time of year. There's a jazz festival, taste addison, free movies on the circle july 4 fireworks.
