Colleges Near Cleburne, TX?

I'm from a small city in Johnson County named Cleburne. And I have to have a list of ten colleges that i want to attend and plan on sending my reseme to, for Senior English. But i only have one college i want to go to(Tarleton University-Stephenville, TX) and yea i know like Texas Tech and stuff but that's a long way from Cleburne and i still want to be fairly close to my family and younger siblings. So if anyone knows of colleges that are closer to Johnson county please list them and help me out. thanks mucho! *Also im looking for a colleges with a good Education or English dept. thanks* --lauren alice.

Texas Christian University would be the closest, but it's very expensive. The University of Texas at Arlington is good. I believe Cleburne is maybe an hour away from Fort Worth. Texas Christian University is in Fort Worth, and it's an incredible school. Also, if you're interested in driving to Dallas, Southern Methodist University is there, and it's considered one of the best schools in America, though it's a bit hard to get into. And University of Texas at Arlington is in Arlington, and it can't be too far from Cleburne either. I hope I helped!
