Does anyone go to the University of North Texas?

  No -- nobody goes there; it's a myth. Of course people go there! What kind of question is that? However you are correct that all people who do go there are jerks. And all people who go to Harvard are preppy jerks and all girls who go to Alabama are Southern Belle jerks and all Frenchmen smoke and stink and all Italian women don't shave their armpits. What are you? Nuts? It takes all types to make a world. I went to NY city against all advice from family and friends because I was told I would get mugged or stabbed as soon as I got off the bus. True, I met people who were too busy to give me directions, but I also met people who knew exactly how to get where I was going. Folks wanted to tell me the best place to catch a train in to the City from New Jersey, the best place to get cheesecake, and the best place to go after the theatre. After staying a few days and going to the same store for coffee and a newspaper in the morning, I knew the names of the guys behind the counter and called them by name -- and they called me by name too. I'm sure there were jerks in NYC and at U of NT and at your local supermarket. But if all you're experiencing are rude and arrogant jerks in life, then you're not looking hard enough for the nice guys.
