What is a great private beach house to rent?

Help finding an oceanfront beach house to rent....!?

• Hi, I am looking to rent an oceanfront beach house (for 5 days four nights!). I'm located in in North east ohio, so would like to drive no further than 10-15 hours away since it is a shorter trip. Let me tell you what we are dreaming of for our mini vacation.. A little beach house, (there will be four people max) sitting right on the beach, but more secluded and private. In the back of mind I keep thinking of the house in Nights in Rodanthe. We do not want to be crowded. No condo's, we would like to rent a HOUSE. If it doesn't have direct ocean access, we would like a house that at least has it's own private pool, with the ocean nearby. We would be going most likely sometime in august. Price wise, nothing outrageous, but we aren't cheapo's either! lol...something fair for what we are getting. We were thinking somewhere in south carolina, but that isn't a must...as long as there is a beach, a more private secluded house, within 10-15 hours of us and it's warm, we don't care where it is!   Well, I live in Hilton Head, SC and I know a LOT of people from Ohio take vacations to Hilton Head. There are a great number of different beach houses for rent here. I found a good website for you to use. http://www.hiltonheadrentals.com/ Check it out. I recommend North Forest beach or Sea Pines for the location part, but really anything is good. They have pictures and the prices/week for rental on the website as well. If you do end up coming to Hilton Head for your vacation. Since you are from Ohio, there is a really good restaurant called Mangiamo's on Main St. The restaurant is geared toward people from Ohio. (There is even Michigan logos in the urinals) Good luck searching
