How old is the legal driving age in ohio now?

Ohio currently has graduated driving licenses for new drivers. You can see the requirements at: http://www.bmv.ohio.gov/driver_license/gdl.htm This website will tell you who needs to be in the car with her while she is driving, the driver's training required, and just about anything else you could want to know about it. There is nothing pending that would change the driving age to 18, but there are several restrictions in place for children under 18 who are driving. But the main thing is no driving between 1am and 5am.

15 and 6 months to get a temporary permit and 16 to get the actual driver's license.

nope... everybody has been talking about rumors like that for a year now, but still nothing has happened.

You can obtain a temporary permit when you are 15 and six months of age. You will need a parent/guardian if under 18 and once you pass written and vision tests, and you can only drive with a licensed driver. There has been talk of raising the driving age to 16 but as for now it is still the same.
