Where's the best place to view Cincinnati Fireworks??
-
We live in the Price Hill area. I'm looking for the best place in Cincinnati to view the fireworks this 4th of July. That and which township has the best parade?

Answer:
Um, everyone else is thinking about Labor Day Fireworks. Kuliga Park in Green Twp. on July 3rd is having some awesome fireworks! Went last year it was great. But I would recommend you go to coney's fireworks if you have the money, and bring some friends along. Go swimming, then after that, go and watch the balloons glow, watch some fireworks, go to a concert, and have a great time. I've been to one of coney's concerts, that was pretty fun. It's all your choice, it just depends on what you like, and what you think would be most interesting in your own opinion. Kuliga Park-FREE Coney Island-NOT FREE YOUR CHOICE! HAVE A GOOD 4TH THOUGH, NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO! God Bless America!

Old Coney is having glow night on Tuesday, it's really neat, a bunch of hot air balloons and than they finish off the night with fireworks. That's where we went last year and had a nice time...see below: 8th Annual LaRosa’s Balloon Glow Tuesday, July 3 5-10pm Coney Island will come alive for the 8th Annual LaRosa’s Balloon Glow on Tuesday, July 3rd. Live music, family entertainment and Coney's Classic Rides make for a fun-filled evening. Later, the evening sky illuminates as more than 30 hot and cold air balloons of every color “glow” for all to see. The grand finale for the event is a spectacular fireworks display over the banks of Lake Como beginning at 10pm. Please note that that due to the fireworks and safety regulations, all vehicles parked though Gate 1 will not be permitted to leave the park from 9:45pm until the fireworks are over. Gate 3 will remain open. Admission to the event is FREE. Normal rates apply for Sunlite Pool and Coney’s Classic Rides SCHEDULE OF EVENTS - Madcap Puppet Theatre at the Moonlite Square Gazebo at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm - Q102 near Lakeside Pavilion from 4-7pm - Stiltwalkers & Jugglers perform in Moonlite Square from 6-9pm - Bearcat Band Jazz Ensemble at the Moonlite Square Gazebo from 6:30-9:30pm - Balloons “glow” in Moonlite Mall from 8-10pm - Rozzi’s Fireworks over Lake Como at 10pm

Blue Ash is having a great 4th of July festival. Heart will be there- if you like that sort of thing. Cool Fireworks- Toyota is in on it, so you know it'll be good.
Ms. Davis if you're nasty
Downtown by the river, but call the city and ask.

Would everybody who gave her advice about the river please note that she was asking for THE 4TH OF JULY. We live in the Price Hill area. I'm looking for the best place in Cincinnati to view the fireworks this 4th of July Unless statistics lie, the fireworks you are setting her up for happen on LABOR DAY WEEKEND.

Copycat said it best! Also Kings Island has a good show as well as about any town in the Cinci area. Labor Day is the best on the Ohio River. View it from any of the restaurants along the the Covington / Newport stretch of "Riverboat Row"!

I believe Dan H is right in saying that there are not any fireworks on the river for the 4th. They do indeed have them on the river for Labor Day and they are pretty cool. The 4th fireworks scene in Cincy is comprised of individual communities all having their own. That makes it a little hard to make answer your question since every community's show will be different. They will be spread out over multiple days, allowing multiple 'bests'. Since I live in Hyde Park, I will be going to the show in Ault Park (http://www.hydeparkcincinnati.org/files/News/4th2007generalrelease.pdf). It's a really great venue and I can walk there. If you have to drive it could be a pain to park. Since there are so many fireworks shows to choose from, I think how much you enjoy each one will depend on how much you enjoy each community, since there isn't going to be any end-all-be-all fireworks extravaganza put on by the city. Hope that non-answer helps ;)

You can go to a site like local 12 and see who is doing fireworks on the 4th along with a parade. Blue Ash always has something nice but some towns are doing fireworks on the 3rd also. Kaluga Park in Green township puts on a nice affair with food, fireworks, and bands on the 3rd. You can enjoy the holiday festivities for 2 days. Kaluga Park is also about 10/15 minutes from Price Hill.
GOODY
watch them from the river
