How much should a bank teller make?

How much does a bank teller at washington mutual make?

• my friend works at a wamu and she claims they pay her 16 dollars per hour but she doesn't even have g.e.d. she's a high school drop out. So i find it hard to believe. But is this true? I always thought bank teller didn't make too much money unless they were managing.
