Are there real prisoners in these haunted houses?? If so could you tell about some haunted houses in Chicago.?

Ok my friends and I are supposed to be going to haunted houses or something haunted on Halloween and we were thinking of haunted basement or haunted prison but the thing is that we don't know about haunted prison because we don't know who the prisoners are going to be. I think i know that they would have everyday people as prisoners. but hey better safe than sorry, also any ideas of other haunted places im open for ones in chicago;) plz and thx

Statesville Haunted Prison in Crest Hill on Weber Rd. is set up each year on the grounds of a landscape and farm business near the prison. It is not prison owned, and the actors are not real prisoners. It is very popular, and very expensive.
