How safe is the Orange Line CTA to Midway and to the Loop?

West Loop to Wicker Park?

  • Which cta transit line would I need to catch from the chicago loop by michigan avenue to get to the neighborhood of wicker park? ex. brown line or red line? also if anyone knows how to get to logan square or lincoln park from the loop on the L train would be great

  • Answer:

Catch the Blue Line train anywhere in the Loop along Dearborn Street or at the Thompson Center. Ride the train to the Damen stop and you'll be in the heart of Wicker Park. As for Logan Square, same thing. Catch the Blue Line subway train downtown and ride it northwest. Get off at the stop named "Logan Square", a little further down the line from Damen. As for Lincoln Park, it might be best to ride the bus, depending on where you want to go. You can catch the 22 Clark or 38 Broadway bus on Dearborn and they will take you directly to Lincoln Park.
