How can i apply for a job at O'hare airport?

Chicago Ohare Airport - Terminal 3 to Terminal 5 , information?

  • Chicago Ohare Airport - Terminal 3 to Terminal 5 , information Hi, I have a stop at Ohare ORD airport to change flight. I would be reaching ORD boarding a domestic flight which would arrive at terminal 3 and then I have to board an international flight from terminal 5. Both the flight have different carriers AA for domestic and IA for International. I know that all the international flights arrive and depart from terminal 5. I need to know : 1.How are the terminals connected ? 2.Whether I will have to get security check done again at ORD ? 3.I have multiple baggages and what would be the best way to reach terminal 5 from terminal 3 . 4.Does terminal 3 have baggage checkin counter for Indian Airlines, so that I can handover by baggages and proceed to terminal Thanks a lot !! Regards Santosh

  • Answer:

The above answer is pretty much it.... You will need to take the tram from one terminal to the other... You need to exit the terminal and go past the ticketing counters... You need to take an escalator/elevator to the cat walk that goes over the drive where people are dropped off and then back down the escalator.... The tram comes every few min. and goes from terminal to terminal as well as the remote parking.... You will need to go thru security again but the international terminal is usally a little less congested... As for checking your bags... The airlines should transfer them for you.

Other answers

1) You transfer between terminals via the Airport Transit System (ATS), a monorail which runs every 5 mins or so. 2) Because you have to go outside TSA security at Terminal 3 to get to the ATS, you'll have to go through TSA security at Terminal 5. 3 & 4) You should be able to check in your bags at your point of origin all the way to your destination, so you won't have to go to baggage claim, pick it up there, haul it to Terminal 5, check it back in there and go on. Air India's counter is in Terminal 5, so there's no provision to just hand over your bags at Terminal 3.
