University of Michigan, Ohio State, or Loyola Chicago? where to live/go to college?

  • i want to live in either Ohio, MICHIGAN, or Illinois. My first choice is University of Michgian, cause i want to live in Michigan..Im going pre-med and i live in Georgia right now. I want to live where it snows alot in the winter. I'm a christian and a republican, but i cant live in a blue state. it doesnt matter. so what do you think also how hard is it to get in to University of michgian. I have a 4.5 weighted and a 4.0 unweighted. a 2200 on SAT. and i'm the president of 3 clubs also, what's the weather like in Michigan? how much snow? what's the summer like? I LOVE COLD WINTERS

    Ohio State. We definitely get the snow here in Ohio! We have a full 4 seasons here so if you want cold winters and beautiful fall weather we have it. Summers are hot at times. The OSU campus is beautiful. Have you visited? They have a wonderful student recreation building where you can work out. Plus if you are a sports fan, Ohio State on game day is unbelievable. Overall Columbus is a great city. Great places to shop, eat and enjoy the outdoors.

Well, Illinois and Michigan are both solid blue states, and Ohio is light blue -- so you don't have much choice. My recommendation would be to go to the best school you can get accepted to. U Mich is one of the best schools in the country; Ohio State is way up there too. Loyola is not even in the same league as either of them.

I say if you want to go to Michigan there is a great Med school in Ann Arbor. I live in Michigan and there is alot of snow. but i like most of the snow days. lol the summer can be as hot as 90 degress and if it is over it is really rare! COME TO MICHIGAN!! there are many new hospitals opening downtown grand rapids and seeking workers!!
