What week is spring break for high schools in Illinois?

  • I'm from Massachusetts, and our high school spring break is next week, the 19th-23rd. I'm going to tour colleges in Chicago, and I was wondering if the breaks were the same or if I'd be the only one on the tours since everyone else is still in school.

    For CPS (Chicago Public Schools), we already had our spring break two weeks ago, and I know some people who went on college tours during that week. CPS students would be in school next week.

Unfortunately,they are all different. My son is a senior and already had his spring break. Many schools are out for the year by mid to end of May, so their break is earlier. Are you wondering when colleges are out? I so, call each one and set up a tour visit. Hope that helps.
