What are good touristy/fun things to do/see during a weekend in Chicago?

  • Me and my friends (in our late 20s) are going to Chicago for the weekend and want to know what the best things to see and do in the city, during the day and in the evenings

    Blues Club. Kingston Mines on N Halstead starts the live show at 9:30 and two bands alternate for the next six hours. $12 to get in. $15 for a bucket of beer. Five bottles of a national brand or import. Try to catch Jimmy Burns.

Chicago is one of the cultural centers of the country. There are tons of things to do there. Go to Ohio St and Michigan Ave. Walk up/down michigan avenue for shopping. "magnificent mile" Night time - Go to Excaliber aka Vision - it's like 4 night clubs in 1, crazy maze inside, 5 levels, different stages, different DJ's. Or at night, go to Clark and Addison - wrigglyville, very crazy as well
