What is there for fun to do in Chicago?

What are some fun things to do in the chicago, northern suburban areas?

• every year for my bday my older sister and I do something instead of getting me a gift, which i like. so this year i'm turning 16 and my birthday is in about a month so that means it's winter and snowing. it's kind of hard to think of other things to do because we've done a lot already. but i want this year to be something really fun because it's my 16th. some of the stuff we've done is bowling,disney on ice, the platium(roller skating rink), fondue at my sister's apartment and then to this little lounge place and drinks(nonalcoholic) in evanston, and the play too much light makes the baby go blind. that's really all i can remember. i'm looking for something in the chicago or northern area like andersonville,rogers park, skokie, evanston just generally all around and i just really want something fun and different we both really like to try new things. and please no navy pier stuff ive been there about a gazilion times unless there is some kind of event going on. If you know any cool places, different restaurants, fun things to do please answer and i would appreciate it if nobody posted answers including sex,drugs, or alcohol because i don't do those things and i won't try. :)

  i would definitely saw medieval times! you can eat with your hands and watch a joust with hot guys in real jousting knights outfits. it might sounds kinda lame but it can be really really fun if you get into it, and it's located in schaumburg in the northwest suburbs.
