Taxi fares from chicago?

i need to go to northwestern university from the greyhound bus terminal at chicago by taxi. the distance is approximately 20 miles. can anyone give me an idea of what the taxi fares would be like?

Do you have a lot of luggage? What time/day will you be arriving? If you don't have a lot of luggage, I suggest taking the train, the Union Pacific Line North line (NOT NW). You can get off at the Central St. stop. It will cost you $3.35. You can never tell how much a cab can cost because of the traffic, it could cost you more. I would say, at the very least $20.

Seriously, just consider using the CTA, they offer frequent bus & rail lines serving all parts f Chicago. For trips traveling further outside of the city just take a Metra commuter train. Any option would be more cost effective than that of a taxi.
