It was an American Airlines DC 10 headed for LAX. The engine bolt sheering is correct. When the bolt sheered, the engine fell off the wing causing an imbalance the caused to plane to flip upside down, then crashing in a field outside of Ohare Airport near a mobile home park. No survivors. This caused a grounding of all DC10's until they could all be checked out. I used to work at Ohare for United Airlines. When something like this happens, it doesn't just affect the AA people, it affects all airline people. It was devastating.
