What are some fun and cheap/free things to do in Chicago?

  • Hey guys, So my boyfriend is visiting me in Chicago this weekend (friday-sunday morning) and although the weather is still a bit chilly (40 degrees more or less) and its the beginning of spring time here. I was wondering what are some things my boyfriend and i could do? We've visited many of the museums and have gone to navy pier (although he loves it anyway). I really wish we could go on the seadog rides but it's not open yet. So in this reawakening of the city after winter, what do you suggest? We have thought about going to Medieval times as well, is it work the big bucks? We also wanted to go to lincoln park zoo but maybe when the weather is better? And wrigleyville would be fun, but it is just us two and it would be more fun with more people. Please let me know your thoughts!
