What are some fun things to do during summer?

I'm going to chicago this summer, what fun things can a teenager do?

  • with family because i'm just visiting uhm, what are good mall suggestions? where's the nearest cheesecake factory.. etc. i heard that the threadless store is in chicago.. (threadless.com) uhmmmm ?!?!

    Well I live in Chicago, I'm 14... Ummm you can go on the top of the Sears Tower or John Hancock... ITS AMAZING!!! IDK about the Chessecake factory tho... I know there is one in the John Hancock building though. It's underground... Go to Navy Pier... ride a boat in Lake Michigan... Take the Sea Dog.. They tell you alot of interesting facts about Chicago. You may also want to visit the Shed Aquarium or the museum of Science and Industry.Go to a fancy restuaurant along the Lake Front. Look at the great architectur of the Cityscape. Millenium park is pretty cool too. Take the CityWalk... Go fishing, or since you're going in the Summer, go swimming in Lake Michigan.. there are pretty good beaches here. Just watch out for those snapping turtles LOL... If you go to Lincoln Park Zoo, You're sure to be amused!!! Well, I hope you have a reaaLLyy fun vacation here in ILLINOIS.. Latr

Go to the top of the Sears Tower. Ride the El Train around "The Loop". It could take more than a day to see all the exibits at the Museum of Science and Industry

Just a bit of advice ... If you're a teen girl and new to Chicago... don't go anywhere near the 100's blocks LoL I used to live there... it's fun, but not fun if you're not used to some people in Chicago Milllenium park go shopping on michigan a lot of the "Chicago Style" places are good to go to... it's usually the smaller resturants that have the best food

Spend at least a whole day at the Museum of Science and Industry. No matter what your interests you will find something to enjoy (i.e. The Fairy Castle, United's plane on the second floor, Finnegan's Ice Cream Parlor in "Old Chicago", the coal mine, the submarine, the Zephyr train, the Henry Crown Space Center with the Omnimax theater, ....).
