How to get to six flags from arlington heights/prospect heights, il?

  • me and my friends wanna take the bus to six flags. we live in arlington hts/prospect hts. how would we go to Gurnee from our place and is there any toher information needed to use the PACE bus? PLEASE help!.

    As you can see by Tichur's answer. going with public transportation really doesn't work from the suburbs.

There is a PACE route (on 4 buses) from Palatine & Elmhurst Rd. It takes about 4 hrs to get there for $4.00: Take PACE BUS # 234 from ELMHURST & PALATINE to Strong & Milwaukee Ave Take PACE BUS # 272 to HAWTHORN CENTER & SEARS Take PACE BUS # 572 to WASHINGTON & GENESEE Take PACE BUS # 565 to GRAND & GREAT AMERICA You can also take 2 METRA trains and a PACE bus. You take the bus from Schaumburg or Rosemont. You can get to the Scaumburg Station by driving, or to the Rosemont Station by taking Metra to the Blue Line. Note: This can only happen on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

You would have to go to the pace site. I question whether that bus foes there. I don't believe there is publice transportation between those 2 locations.
