First midwest bank amphitheatre lawn seats?

  • im going to the no doubt/paramore concert with a few friends, and we were thinking of getting lawn seats instead of seats closer to the stage like we do at every concert. but i was wondering, since its my first time going to this amphitheatre and using lawn seats - are they good? would you reccomend getting them? thanks!     The lawn is a thin strip at the back. The sound waivers and if it rains it really sucks. If you are totally into the music and want to hear every song and write down the setlist and see what the band is wearing this is not for you. If you are there to party and talk to friends it will be fun.

Don't listen to these people. The rain is sweet. Sure, it's dirty, but everyone else is too! There are usually a few people that start up decent mudslides and it gets quite rowdy. If you plan on just having a great time with friends the lawn seats are for you. The only thing that sucks about them is the view. Try to be one of the first people through the gates so you can grab a good spot. There are large poles in the seating area that block about 40% of the lawn view. There are megatrons so you can see the show....but its not the same as seeing the show on the stage, ya know?

Yes. Get there early to be right where the lawn begins and you'll have great sightlines to the stage. The only issue w/ the lawn seats at FMB is rain.
