How old do you have to be to take the metra train?

I am trying to take the Metra train from the southwext side (Beverly) to the Auditorium Theatre downtown?

  • I live in Chicago and I have never ridden a train before and I need to know what to do, what stop to get off at, and general information. I am trying to get to the Auditorium Theatre located at 50 East Congress Parkway. I think I get off at LaSalle station, but I'm not sure.

  • Answer:

The train will more than likely end at the train station at Randolph Street. Walk out of the station and head East (ask someone if you have to, but east is the direction of the lake). Walk until to you get to the elevated train tracks, then make a right (west). Walk until you get to congress parkway and turn left. You'll be right at the Auditorium Theater. The theater is connected to Roosevelt University, in case you think you're lost. --- Or, you can always take a cab. Walking will take you about 10-13 minutes, but if the weather is nice, it's no big deal. A cab will take about five minutes, but will cost you.
