Can I reserve my hotel without a credit card?

Is there any hotel that I can pay/reserve without a Credit Card in Boston?

  • My friends and I are going to a convention in Downtown Boston. We have 2 adults and 7 kids. We can not really use a credit card...not sure a parent will let us. Is there anyway we can Reserve 2 or 3 rooms? It would be great it is only for a one night stay! Thanx in advance! Specific: Boston Anime Convention Boston Hynes Convention Center 2 adults (18-19 yrs old) 7 kids (5 are 15 yrs olds and 2 are 16 yrs olds) May 23, 2009- May 24, 2009 We can use a parent credit card...but not really sure! It would be appreciated if somebody can find the hotel that meets our criteria, but any help would be great!

    Someone who is checking into the hotel will need to have a credit card at all hotels unless you give a deposit. Some hotels need a deposit of $200, others $500. So whether you can reserve one isn't such a problem, it's checking into it that will be the problem. Sorry!

I do not have a credit card, but do have a bank card. i called the hotel and asked if i could reserve with the card and than pay cash when the visit was over.(they said i could) you might want to call to see if they would do that for you. this was in Chicago by the way.

They will require a deposit if they even allow you to check in. You will have to pay a hefty deposit before booking.
