Is there any good private high school near Boston?

What is the best public high school in Boston, MA?

I'm in 11th grade and I live in CA and my brother is moving to Boston because he's student in "Boston University School of Medical" and I don't really like the schools in my city that much so i decided to change my school and I end up with Boston is my only choose. my question is which one is the best public high school in Boston and near Boston University School of Medical? please answer my question. thanks.

    The best public high school is Boston Latin, which you have to test into (it is public- totally free, but it's reserved for "smarter kids.") If you don't quite make it there, Boston Latin Academy (also a test-in) is the next best alternative. Not quite as excellent, but still better than regular Boston schools, which all suck pretty much equally. However, the town of Brookline has excellent public schools and is quite close to BU at some points, but I have no idea where the med school is, so that might be useless. Hope that helped!

The BU Medical School is on the South End/Roxbury line. The best public schools in the city are exam schools Boston Latin and Boston Latin Academy, and are very hard to get into. After that are the various magnet and charter schools. You may not be able to attend Boston public schools by living with your brother.

Boston Public Schools are terrible the best of the worst being one of the exam schools (Boston Latin School, Boston Latin Academy, John D. O'Bryant School) another alternative would be going to school in Brookline which isnt far from BC and alot nicer
